L’au de foc, l’ocell que reneix de les cendres i crema entre flames. La cua es recargola en cinc flames de diferents formes, les ales i el coll sobresurten del cos elevant la figura cap al cel. Els ulls, daurats amb pa d’or, focalitzen la mirada, imponent, cap a l’espectador. Aquesta fou la primera bèstia de foc nascuda de mans de Pau Reig a l’edat de 17 anys. Amb el temps, ha esdevingut tot un símbol i marca del Taller, espai on reposa i observa a les noves creacions.
The fire bird, the bird that rises from the ashes and burns in flames. The tail curls into five flames of different shapes, the wings and neck protrude from the body lifting the figure to the sky. The eyes, gilded with gold leaf, focus their gaze, imposingly, on the viewer. This was the first fiery beast born from the hands of Pau Reig at the age of 17. Over time, it has become a symbol and brand of the workshop, a space where he rests and observes the new creations.
